This is a standard "F to F" 3 octave vibraphone. This instrument is a little bit smaller than many other more recent vibraphones: width 45"; height is 32". N.B. it is NOT height adjustable (see below)

It has a lovely bell-like sound. It is an ideal starter or study instrument but it is also a convenient instrument for a gigging percussionist.

There are some very minor cosmetic blemishes on the bars, they are in generally very nice condition. The bars are very highly polished.  The feet and sides are a matt black - if I was going to keep it, I would probably touch them up.  The pedal bar may also need a bit of attention but nothing serious.

I absolutely love this instrument but on the advice of my vibes tutor, I need to change to a height adjustable instrument to save my back (I'm about 6'6").  I looked into having it raised but decided against it as it would destroy the classic value of it.
